May 27, 1944 - March 17, 2008

The funeral for Dorothy E. Harmon Simunek, 63, will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at Lucien Methodist Church, Lucien. Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery, Douglas. Dane Lemons, pastor, will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

She was born May 27, 1944, in Prague to Coy William and Jewel Stevison Harmon and died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Cancer Treatment of America, Tulsa. She graduated from Pioneer High School in 1962. She married Les Simunek Dec. 17, 2002, in Tulsa. She worked as a scanner operator at United Parcel Service and had worked at Albertsons Grocery Store for 27 years in Tulsa. She attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Tulsa.

Surviving are her husband, Les; three daughters, Dena Ross and Dana Mathis, both of Tulsa, and Dawnya Connaughton of Skiatook; two brothers, Coy Harmon and Donald Harmon, both of Perry; three sisters, Betty Keith of Perry, Wilma Apperson of Eldon, Mo., and Wanda Blankenship of Inola; three stepsons, Kelly, Randy and James Simunek, all of Enid; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Memorials may be made to Lucien United Methodist Church.
