Del Norte Cemetery


WOODWARD — Graveside service for Robert Alan Swart, 63-year-old Woodward resident, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Del Norte Cemetery , Drummond. Pastors Ron Olsen and Dan O'Daniel will officiate. Arrangements are under direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation with family will be 5-6 p.m. Monday at Henninger-Hinson Chapel.

Robert was born in Enid, Oklahoma, July 22, 1949, to Rolland and Naidine (Taylor) Swart and died Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

He graduated from high school in Derby, Kansas, in 1966.

He married Joan Hirsh December 12, 1970, in Dodge City, Kansas. God blessed this union with three daughters: Cassandra, Adrienne and Sara.

Robert served a tour of duty with the United States Army in Vietnam. He worked in hotel management in numerous cities in Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Robert is survived by his ex-wife, Joan; daughters, Cassandra Stubblefield of Kansas City, Missouri, and Adrienne and Sara Swart of Dodge City, Kansas; parents, Rolland and Naidine Swart of Enid; sister, Valerie Buschbacher of Mulvane, Kansas; brother, Gary Swart of Portland, Oregon; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his dear friend and partner, Sharon Rich, and nephews Joseph and Carl Buschbacher.
