FATALLY INJURED IN ACCIDENT
Clarence Roberts, aged 22 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Roberts, of near Drummond, was fatally injured when caught in a belt while engaged at his work in the oil fields near Pawhuska, Thursday of last week. He was asked following the accident if he was badly hurt and is said to have replied, "Well, boys, it's all over with." He died on the way to the hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Drummond Congregational church, a very large crowd being in attendance. Burial was made in Del Norte cemetery.
The parents, four brothers and other relatives survive to mourn his untimely death.
