Mr. A. Reddick was born in Logan Co., Ill., and with his parents moved to Indiana, where he lived until he enlisted in the army. He served two years and then returned home and married. Later he re-enlisted and served two more years, being discharged at the close of the war. Two of his children are living in Enid, one being dead. At the age of 84 years, 6 months and 7 days, he died Wednesday night at 11:30 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Dellapp, 1202 North Adams, following a long illness of dropsy. The G.A.R. had charge of the funeral services at Enid, and the body was brought here for burial. Funeral services were held here at the Advent Christian Church, Friday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Elder R.B. Shannon of Edmond. Mrs. Hattie McDonald is a niece of Mr. Reddick.
