The memorial services celebrating the life of Mrs. Helen Phelps, 90, of Enid, will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday April 10, 2018 in the Del Norte Cemetery with Pastor Janice Buffalo officiating. Complete cremation care and services are the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born January 2, 1928 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Clyde and Fay Thorlton Roll and passed from this life on April 4, 2018 in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Enid Graduating from Enid High School and Attending Enid Business College. She was employed for many years by Northwest Psychiatry. She and Ron Phelps were married on November 27, 1977 in Enid and moved to Buena Vista, Colorado, they returned to Enid in 1998. She was a member of the Monarch Quilters Guild in Buena Vista, Colorado.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Huddleston of Prescott, Arizona and David Stanford of Enid, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Mrs. Terri Butler, of Tacoma, Washington; three grandchildren, Charles Huddleston, Sarah Huddleston, and Tricia Hawkins.

The family request that in Lieu of flowers memorials be made in her name to Post-Polio Health International Association with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
