ENID, OK — Funeral for Lois A. Peckham will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Vernon Lee will officiate. Those unable to attend due to bad weather can view the service live at www.ladusauevans.com. Burial will be at Del Norte Cemetery , Drummond, OK. Visitation with family will be 5-6 p.m. today, December 22, at the funeral home.

Lois was born November 5, 1952, in Enid to Seth and Stella (Scott) Payton of Drummond, OK, and died Friday December 20, 2013.

She graduated in May 1971 from Drummond High.

On September 18, 1971, Lois married Donald J. Peckham. They made Enid their home.

Lois and Don had two children: Jeffery, born in 1974, and Amy, born in 1978. Lois was very active in the kids' school functions, was a member of PTA and did volunteer work at the school.

She started working at Kmart in October 1988 and retired in November 2007.

Lois is survived by her son, Jeff Peckham and wife Quillian of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Amy Levings and husband Chad of Augusta, KS; seven grandchildren, Chelsea and Maurcel Gaines, Zorion, Malachi and Zoey Peckham, Hunter and Maddison Levings; two great-grandchildren Aleona and Taylor Gaines; brother, Jim Payton and wife Carol of Port Orange, FL; sister, Debbie Bonebrake and husband Rick of Enid, OK.; nephew, Adam Payton and wife Charlene of Port Orange, FL; three nieces, Victoria Blevins and husband Drew of Broken Arrow, OK, and Maci and Sarah Bonebrake of Enid, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, David, and her loving husband in July 2007.

Lois had many friends, but her four closest friends, Teresa, Lilly, Donna and Grace, were her rock during her most difficult times. She loved all her grandbabies so much and loved to spoil them.

Memorials may be made to heart division of Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation through the funeral home.
