Del Norte Cemetery


The funeral for Glenda Mae Lebow, 75, of Ames, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Terry Chick will officiate. Burial will be in Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born March 2, 1931, east of Aline to Paul and Hazel McNickle Seifert and died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at her home east of Ames.

She graduated from Aline High School. She married Donald Lebow on Feb. 4, 1950. He died in 1995.

She worked for Southwestern Bell until her marriage, became a full time mom, worked on the farm and had an egg route. She also managed several motels. In 1993 she began working as a bus monitor and remained there until her death.

Surviving are one daughter, Cindy McFarling and husband Harald of Denton, Texas; one son, Gary Lebow and wife Sherla of Ames; three grandchildren, Jason, Kyle and wife Maranda, and Travis; and two great-grandchildren, Karsten and Galen; two sisters, Juanita Nordyke and Mildred Dixon, both of Enid; one brother, Cliff Seifert of Enid; and special friend Wendall Larr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Harold, and one grandson Donald Marvin.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or American Cancer Society with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
