Del Norte Cemetery


ENID - The memorial service for Randal "Randy" King, 52, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will be in Del Norte Cemetery . Cremation arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Randy was born Nov. 13, 1957, in Garnett, Kan., to Jack and Leona (Baugher) King and died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, Okla.

He grew up on the family farm in Harris, Kan., and later moved to Minnesota and farmed with his father and brother from 1975 to 1986. They raised wheat, barley and sunflowers.

He later worked for Sooner Completions in Oklahoma.

He married Patsy Jo Gore, but later divorced.

Randy enjoyed the outdoors and liked fishing and worked on old cars and motorcycles.

He had a host of nieces and nephews he enjoyed.

Survivors include his son, Randall Jo King; his parents, Jack and Leona King; brothers, Ricky King and wife Becky of Garnett, Kan., and Steve King and wife Betty of Drummond, Okla.; and sister, Jackie Ekman and husband Daryl of Drummond, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Marguerite King and Kenneth and Mabel Baugher, and uncle Kenneth (Mick) Baugher.
