Del Norte Cemetery


LEWIS DEAN FRIEND Funeral services for Lewis Dean Friend, age 77, will be today at 2:00 p.m. at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Rev. Brad Hannah will officiate. Burial will follow at the Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond. Arrangements are being made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Our beloved husband, father and grandfather left to be with the Lord on December 2, 2004 at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. He was born August 14, 1927 in Wichita, KS to Miss Ruth Payton. He grew up on a farm west of Drummond, OK. He lived with his grandmother and uncle, Seth Payton. He worked at Vance Air Force Base until 1992 when he retired. He is survived by his wife, Ruth and three sons, David and his wife Barbara, Drummond, Jimmy and his wife Jennifer, Edmond, Steven and his wife Sally, Long Beach, CA; two granddaughters, Morgan and Danielle and one grandson, Kason. His parents, one son and one daughter preceded him in death.
