Death of Fred Carr
After a short illness, Fred H. Carr died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carr, Tuesday morning at 2 o'clock. He has spent his entire life in this neighborhood, attending the public schools and he taught one term in the public schools. He was unusually bright in his studies.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church yesterday afternoon and the large number of friends that gather showed their respects for the deceased. The Woodman Lodge attended in body and had charge of the services at the cemetery. Rev. Rehorn conducted the services.
Fred was 22 years old and we can hardly understand why one so young is taken but it must be said, "Thy will be done." He leaves parents, one sister, two brothers and many other relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
