The graveside service honoring the life of Dr. Stanley Oscar Brauser, 96, Yukon, is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond, Oklahoma. Stanley passed on from this earthly life on March 13, 2018, in Oklahoma City, to live forever with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Stanley was born on September 15, 1921, southeast of Drummond on the family farm obtained in the Oklahoma land run. He was the second of five children born to Oscar and Lillie Brauser. After high school, Stanley attended Oklahoma State University for several years before enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII where he served as a weather officer and later retired from the U.S. Air Force as a major. Stanley went on to obtain bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from Oklahoma State University and a PhD in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University. He taught graduate-level engineering courses at Oklahoma State University. Stanley married Thelma Jean Kesner of Enid on September 27, 1952. They were happily married over 65 years and had three children. He loved to read western novels and travel, particularly to Arizona. He also loved to tell jokes and will be remembered for his humbleness and how he lived out his faith daily.

Surviving him are his wife, Thelma, of the home; son, Neil, daughter Janet Richardson and husband Dallas, daughter Anita Feemster and husband Carl; grandchildren, Kathryn, Joseph, and Lillian Feemster; and guardian grandson EJ Bryant. He is also survived by one brother, Bradley Brauser, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends, Ruth Coppock and family, whom he dearly loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: Olin and Eldon Brauser and Blossom Fitzpatrick.

Memorials may be made to the Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond, Oklahoma, or to the Salvation Army.
