Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Beckner's only child, a baby boy, died last Saturday after only a few days sickness of lung fever. The funeral was preached by Rev. Rieves at Barr, Sunday at 1 o'clock p.m. and the interment was at the cemetery here immediately after. These young parents have the sympathy of everyone in this, the greatest loss they have perhaps ever known. This little babe as many others have done budded on earth to bloom in heaven.
