FUNERAL RITES MONDAY FOR MRS. WARD
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Charles J. Ward, 84, the former Martha Ellen Koch, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth HENRY BUCK KOCH, will be in the United Brethren Church, Hayward. Burial will be in the Covington Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward , who is the sister of W. H. Koch, Covington had lived on a farm near Hayward since the opening of the Cherokee Strip. She had spent some time at a hospital in Claremore where death occurred Sunday, Nov. 5, 1944.
From family records, she was the mother of 14 children.
