Covington Cemetery


Robert James Wages, 5, died in Oklahoma City Wednesday morning. Services will be Thursday at 2 PM in the Chapel of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

The Rev. Charles R. Wade, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate at the service at the funeral home and the Rev. Kenton White, pastor of the Covington Baptist Church, will officiate at the burial.

He was born on June 20, 1968, in Enid and attended the kindergarten of Drumright and Lincoln elementary schools. He attended First Baptist Churches of Covington and Enid.

Survivors are his father, Alvin C. Wages of Enid, his mother, Joyce A Wages of Drumright, one sister, Patricia Alene Wages of Drumright, a half – brother, Kim Lee Wages of Enid, his step – mother, Clara Wages of Enid, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Hauen of Covington; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Wages of Enid, maternal great grandmother, Grace Johnson of Garber, paternal great-grandmother, Georgia Medsker of Coffeyville, Kansas, his maternal step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Short of Enid.
