Covington Cemetery


GARBER, OK - Funeral for Jimmy Don Shouse, 73, of Garber, will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Brian Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. Visitation with family will be 5:30-7 p.m. Sunday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born to James and Carmen (Bateman) Shouse February 13, 1940, in Enid and passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013, at his home in Garber.

Jimmy grew up in the Garber area and helped his dad at "The Garage." He also did lawn care and enjoyed going fishing and gardening.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, Michael Campbell and wife Debbie of Vancouver, Washington, Carla Bittle of Enid, Johnny Campbell of Enid, Georgeann Campbell of Stillwater; two great-nieces, Bluesy Summers of Nashville and Kimberly Bittle of Guthrie; and one great-great-nephew, Gunner Cash Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara Faye Campbell, stepfather George Fields, niece DeAnn Campbell and two infant sisters.
