OBITUARY
Services for Roy Lee Short were held at 10am Monday at Chapel of the Chimes with burial at 2 pm, at the Covington Cemetery, Covington OK, directed by Capitol Hill Funeral Home. Roy Lee Short, died June 27, 1985 at age 76. On April 18, 1929, he married Luella Shaffer . He retired from General Crude Oil Co. in 1961. He came to OKC 14 years ago from Texas. He was a member of Southwest Baptist Church and of Myrtle Lodge. He was preceded in death by 1 son, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Survivors include his wife, Luella of the home; 4 sons, Bob of Lovington NM, Bill of Spencer OK, Rex of Tuttle, and Ted of Andrews TX; 2 daughters, Loretta Johnson of OKC, Margaret Ools of Marshall OK; 1 sister, Pearl Bailey of Covington OK; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
