Covington Cemetery


Covington – the funeral for Jay L. Miller, 58, will be at 2 PM Monday in the St. John's Lutheran Church with pastor Richard Docekal officiating. Burial will follow in the Covington Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

He was born July 10, 1939, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to Charles L. And Cecilmae Miller and died Thursday, September 11, 1997, in St. Mary's Mercy Hospital.

He married Kathleen Tutorow on October 1, 1977, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked in the automobile business for 22 years in California retiring in 1989.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home, four daughters, Tara and Amber Miller of the home, Mrs. Brad (Shelley) Loesch of Covington and Mrs. Jon (Stephanie) Burch of Orange, California; his mother, Cecilmae Miller Perkins of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Charles Miller, Junior of Noblesville Indiana, Bruce Miller of Doylestown, Ohio, Richard Miller of Grove town, Georgia; two sisters, Kathy Evans of Mercersburrg, Pennsylvania, Debra McGhee of Colby, Wisconsin; one half – sister, Marilyn Stonerock of Lawton and three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his father and a half – sister.

Memorials may be made to the family through Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.
