Covington Cemetery


The funeral for Warren Dean Miller, 73, of Covington, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The Revs. Jerry Brown and Tommy Donaldson will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 24, 1933, to Elmer Nova and Nannie Katherin Hardin Miller and died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at his home in Covington.

He graduated from Covington High School and attended Tonkawa College and two years at O.T. Autry Vo-Tech, studying refrigeration. He married Allie Joyce Kriethe May 30, 1954, in Covington, where they made their home. He was owner and operator of Miller Processing and was on the Covington Cemetery Board for many years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Covington.

Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Medley of Lahoma and Cheryl Meyer of Covington; one brother, Jim Miller of Perry; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Allie Joyce, in November 2001; one brother; and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Healthback Home Health, Hospice Circle of Love and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
