Memorial service for Billy Dean Masters, 76, of Enid, Okla., will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Covington First Baptist Church, with Pastor Phillip Greg officiating. Burial will follow at Covington Cemetery.

He was born in Wellington, Kan., to William and Iola (Stedman) Masters on Dec. 14, 1938. He was raised in the Garber, Perry area. He moved to Perryton, Texas, and graduated from Perryton High School.

He worked in the oil field and moved to Enid in the mid 1960s, and continued his work in the oil field both nationally and internationally. He then became and owner/operator long hall trucker for 10 years before returning to the beloved oil field, retiring as a tool pusher at the age of 65.

He is survived by one son, one granddaughter, one grandson, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his older sister and one son.
