COVINGTON, OK - Funeral service for Viola Mae Gregg, 83, of Covington, will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, at St John?s Lutheran Church in Covington, with Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Interment will follow in St. John?s Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday.

Viola was born May 9, 1930, in Fairmont, OK, the daughter of Gottfried F. and Anna Schulze Wyssmann and passed away August 12, 2013.

She was a graduate of Covington High School in 1948.

Viola was united in marriage to Cledith Gregg, Sept. 10, 1950, in Covington, and he preceded her in death June 8, 2005.

She was a homemaker and drove a school bus for many years for the Covington School System. She was a member of St. John?s Lutheran Church, Ladies Aide Society and LWML. Her hobbies include cooking, crocheting, sewing, gardening and reading.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Osburn and her husband Dennis of Enid, Dianna Wallace and her husband Rick of Cherokee, OK, and Carol King and her husband Eddie of Enid; two sons, Robert and his wife Janna of Covington, OK, and Ross and his wife Jennifer of Lucien, OK; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church cemetery fund or Ross Hospice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund. Online condolences may be left at ladusauevans.com.
