Covington Cemetery


Graveside services for Ethel M. Goddard, 77, Anaheim, California, will be held at 1 PM Tuesday in the Covington Cemetery. The Reverend Terry Walborn of the Abundant Life Temple will officiate. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Enid.

The casket will be open at the funeral home Monday and until noon Tuesday.

She died October 20, in Long Beach, California.

Funeral services were held October 24 in Buena Park, California.

She was born January 24, 1908, in Rush Spring to John Daws and Carlotta Heard. In 1941 she moved to California where she has lived since.

Survivors include two sons, Gene Goddard of California; and Fred J. Goddard, Vinita; a daughter, Mildred Weaver of Santa Anna, Texas; a nephew, Roy Goddard of Enid; 11 grandchildren and three great – grandchildren.
