January 17, 1955 - September 30, 2019

The funeral service for Diana Lynn Garcia, 64 year-old former Covington resident will be 11:00AM Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Covington. Burial will follow in the Covington Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be Friday, from 8AM to 8PM at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Diana was born January 17, 1955 in Ft. Carson, Colorado to Joel and Velma (Richey) Cline and died Monday, September 30, 2019 in Ponca City. She was an Air-Force brat, living all over the country. She attended High School in Waco, Texas. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in business. She married Ernie Garcia in 1980 and the couple made their home in Covington, OK and Longview, TX. They later divorced.

She moved back to Oklahoma in 2014 to be near her family. She was a homemaker and loved arts and crafts. She was very accomplished at sewing and crochet.

She is survived by her children, Carole Coffin, Ponca City, John and Angela Garcia, Tonkawa, Serena and William Hytla, Enid, Kevin Kreyssig, Mansfield, Laura and Shawn Thompson, Tulsa, Michael and ShaClair Garcia, Tonkawa, Katherine and Joshua Zink, Gillette, Wyoming, and Stephanie and Daniel Castro of Grand Prairie, TX. 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Diana’s name to Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
