ELSIE J. PARKER MILLER DEJARNETT
Funeral services for Elsie J. Miller DeJarnett, 92, will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Family Life Missions. Revs. Lyle Buller and Gary Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Arrange-ments are made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. She was born in Orlando, Okla. April 19, 1914, to Bert F. and Minnie (Pryor) Parker and died Feb. 11, 2007.

She was raised near Orlando and attended Potter Community School. She married Ora Lester “Buck” Miller Oct. 22, 1932, in Wellington, Kan. He died April 19, 1970. She later married John Gensler and he died. She married Elmer DeJarnett in Sept. 1985 and he died in 1996. She was a member of Family Life Missions. She was a cook for St. Mary’s Hospital, East Hill Nursing Home and Longfellow Junior High.

She is survived by Orville and Bertha Miller of Enid, Laverne and Rosalie Miller of Lahoma,Okla., Clifford and Judy Miller of Fayettevill, N.C., Reta Benedict of Weatherford, Okla., Cleta and John Shafer of Enid, Linda Wickham of Enid, Patricia and Lynn Huenefeld of Burdett, Kan., Betty and Bill Garvie of Enid, Danny Miller of Overland Park, Kan.; 33 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by one son, J.D. Miller, eight brothers, three sisters, and one great-granddaughter.
