OBITUARY

Walter T. Cowell was born in Scotland county, Mo., March 16, 1862, and passed away at the C.D. Richey home at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, July 19, 1936.

Mr. Cowell lived in Missouri until five years ago when he moved to Covington.

He is survived by his wife of Covington, and three sons, Dr. Charles Cowell of Ada, Okla.; Silas W. Cowell of San Antonio, Tex., and Archie L. Cowell of Covington. Also three brothers and one sister.

For forty years he had been a member of the Christian church and was also a member of the Masonic lodge of Downing, Mo.

Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the Christian church with Rev. H.C. Busby in charge.

Burial was made in the Covington cemetery.
