Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Darlene “Narne” Brazell, 76, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Garriott Road Church of Christ, with Mr. Ray Rose, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Covington Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Darlene was born June 22, 1938, in Lucien, Okla., the daughter of Albert and Lois Burns Powell and died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, in Enid.

She was united in marriage to Price Brazell in 1954, in Newton, Kan.

She was a manager retired from Southwestern Bell in 1979. She was loved by all of her family and will be remembered as a very sweet person.

Survivors include two sisters, Linda Goddard and husband Joe of Edmond, Okla., and Nancy Thompson of Covington, Okla.; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Price; a son, Greg Brazell; her parents; and a brother, Wayne Powell.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or OMRF, cancer division, with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of the funds.
