A private family memorial service for Vernon Leon Kruse, 57, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

He was born Sept. 1, 1952, in Enid to Leonard Henry Martin and Wilma LaRue Johnson Kruse and died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. He graduated from Enid High School in 1970. He graduated from Enid High School in 1970. He lived in Atlanta, working as a fabric area salesman, before moving back to Enid in 1982. He worked in the Enid News & Eagle’s collections and distribution department. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one brother, Donald R. Crow of Arlington, Texas, and one sister, Rebecca L. Julian of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
