Funeral services for Lorlene Haskins, age 81, of Hunter will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2000 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Breckinridge OK, Rev. Arthur McCormick will officiate. Buriel will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born April 5, 1919 on a farm eight miles south of Hunter to Henry and Amelia Wiederkhr Mohlenbrink, and died Friday evening, Aug. 25, 2000.Lorlene was a baptized member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Breckinridge, OK where she attended the Lutheran School. She was confirmed in 1933 to her faith.On Aug. 1, 1935 Lorlene married Howard Haskins in Breckinridge by Pastor Hoyer. Howard preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1984. They farmed in the Hunter community for 49 years.She is survived by two daughters, Shirley and Gene Ragoss of Hunter, and Carol and Jim Betchan of Edmond, OK, one son, John Haskins of Enid. Seven grandchildren, Terry and Sue Rogoss of Hunter, Kimberley and Terry Collins, Jay and Minka Betchan all of Enid, David Betchan of Edmond, Jeff and Angie Haskins of Virginia. Julie and Travis Holder of Ripley; Oklahoma and Ryan Haskins of Stillwater. Four Great grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.Lorlene was preceded in death by her husband in 1984, a son in 1943, parents in 1950 and 1957, a brother and three sisters.
