Bison Cemetery


ENID — Funeral service for Anna Marie Schulz, 76, of Bison, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bison. Father Joseph Arledge officiating. Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery. Service is entrusted to Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be 3:30-5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Recitation of the rosary will be 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bison.

Anna Marie passed away at her home Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, after losing her battle with cancer. She was born April 12, 1935, on the farm northeast of Hennessy to Albert and Rose (Hladik) Maly.

On Aug. 15, 1955, Anna Marie married Junior Schulz in Bison. She worked as a homemaker on the farm, where she and Junior made their home for over 56 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Bison Altar Society. She received the North Region C.C.W. Woman of Achievement Award in 2008.

She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, helping with harvest and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister; brother, David Maly; and one great-granddaughter.

Anna Marie is survived by her husband, Junior; three daughters, Jo Elaine Pennick and Bob of Siloam Springs, Ark., Jaylene Scott and Mike of Waukomis, and Jeanette McDonald and Mark of Enid; eight grandchildren, Sheri and Scott Chaney, Rogers, Ark., Brandon and Tabatha Scott, Hennessey, Jason and Amy Pennick, Mannford, Stacie and Charlie Myrick, Bossier City, La., Evan and Daryl Reininger, Edmond, Rikki and Justin Guinn, Chandler, Ryan McDonald, Oklahoma City, Tyler and Sara Scott, Waukomis, and soon to be 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Hospice Circle of Love or St. Joseph Catholic Church toward the renovation of the gazebo area.
