Bison Cemetery


Richard G. Mack, 20, Bison, died Wednesday night when the pickup truck he was driving slammed into the side of a train in Waukomis.

Funeral rites for Mack are under the direction of the Henninger - Allen Funeral Home. There will be a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 PM today in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bison and Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Saturday in the same church where Mack was a member.

Rev. William Perras and Rev. Marvin F. Leven will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The Mack family has requested that Masses be said as a remembrance. Mass intentions may be left at the funeral home.

Mack was born at Bison, attended St. Joseph's school and graduated from Waukomis High School in 1972. Following his graduation he attended Northern Oklahoma College at Tonkawa. He was actively engaged in farming at the time of his death.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mack of the home northeast of Bison; three brothers, Teddy, Edward and Fred, all of the home; five sisters, Beverly, Jeanette, Patricia, Shirley and Teresa, of the home; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Mack of Bison and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Goldie Simmons of Alva.
