Robert Gregory Mack was born May 9, 1934, on the family farm near Bison to Charlie and Lucy (Felber) Mack and departed this life May 28, 2015.

He attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Bison, through eighth grade, and Waukomis High School, graduating with the class of 1952.

In December 1952, he married Carleen Simmons at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bison. To this union, nine children were born.

Robert completed a Dale Carnegie course and was employed by Enid Concrete Company for 44 years, retiring in 1998 as manager. He raised cattle and wheat.

He married Shirley Jean Campbell May 3, 1997, at Eureka Springs, Ark. They resided on the farm near Bison until 2009, when they moved to Enid.

Robert was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; president of Redi-Mix Association, serving on the board for many years; a lifelong member of Bison Cemetery Board, serving for many years; a member of Homebuilders Association; and a member of Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Beverly (Bill) Annis of Stillwater, Pat Davis of Oklahoma City, Shirley (Kevin) Lynes of Yukon, Ted (Danita) Mack of Bison, Eddie Mack of Enid, Teresa (Bo) Reid of Enid and Freddie (Laurie) Mack of Enid; stepchildren, Norman (Laurie) Morris of Kansas City, Mo., Beverly Morris (Jim Nogalski) of Tulsa, Mitzi (David) Riggs of Orlando, Mark (Tracy) Morris of Edmond; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy (Elgeva) Mack of Bison, Larry (Karen) Mack of Bison, Carl (Karen) Mack of Drummond; sisters, Eleanor Watt of Whiterock, S.C., Marcella Schovanec of Hunter, Yvonne Wingard of Colby, Kan., Blanche (Jack) Ryel of Broken Arrow, Mary (Larry) Cagigal of Oklahoma City and Sharon (Mike) Pitman of Drummond.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Knapik; son, Richard Mack; daughter, Jeanette Levell; and granddaughter, Jessica Mack.

Funeral mass will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bison, with Father Joe Arledge and Father Ed Menasco officiating. Interment will follow in Bison Cemetery. Rosary will be led by Knights of Columbus at 5:30 p.m. today, Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bison Cemetery or Hospice Circle of Love. A guestbook is at www.andersonburris.com.
