April 7, 1944 - February 20, 2022

The Mass of Christian Burial for Minerva "Suzie" Sue Collins, 77-year-old Enid resident, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Reverend Mark Mason will officiate under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Tony Crispo will lead.

Suzie Collins was born April 7, 1944, in Enid, OK, to Joseph and Agnes (Taborsky) Linhart and left us on February 20, 2022, at Greenbrier Skilled Nursing Facility. Suzie attended Bison Catholic School and Waukomis High School, graduating in 1962. She met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Charles Collins, at Waukomis High School. Suzie attended Enid Business College and began working as a secretary at George E. Failing Company in Enid. She and Bob married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison, OK, May 21, 1966. Suzie and Bob began their life together in Marshall, where Bob taught band at Marshall High School. After three years, they moved to Garber, OK, where Bob continued teaching at the local high school for five years. The young family moved to Enid, where Bob worked at Jensen's Music Store. Suzie started working as office manager at Maxwell Enterprises. She then worked for 19 years for the 45th Fires Brigade of the Oklahoma National Guard and retired in 2009, when she won the Adjutant General's Spirit Award from the guard's State Family Program.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its Altar Society and financial committee. She volunteered at Our Daily Bread.

Suzie will be remembered for her deep faith, kindness and giving heart. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandkids. She valued her Czech heritage and loved baking kolaches for her family.

Suzie is survived by her daughter, Cindy Beltrano and husband, Aldo, and their children, Adriana and Francesco, of Jupiter, Florida; son, Rob Collins and wife, Kim, and their children, Kalina and Landon, of Enid; her sister, Jody Wiewel; niece, Rebecca Redwine and family; niece, Marsha Gimlin and family; as well as several cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents; and her nephew, Randy Wiewel.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Daily Bread.
