OBITUARY
David Stephens, 79, an old-time resident of Enid, died Sunday at his home, 515 South Monroe, after a lingering illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Aldie Stephens, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Zada Kornbaum, Enid; Mrs. Katie Withers, Shidler; and Mrs. Ettelka Withers, Enid; and three sons, Glen Stephens, Norman; John Stephens, Smackover, Ark.; and Ralph Stephens, Enid.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the chapel of the Brown Funeral home, with the Rev. E.L. Schuermann, pastor of the Bethany Evangelical church, officiating. Burial was in the Bethany cemetery southeast of Enid.

DEATH NOTICES
Funeral services for David Stephens, 79, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Brown funeral chapel. Interment was in the Bethany cemetery by the side of two wives who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Aldia Stephens of Enid; three sons, Glen of Norman, Okla.; Ralph of Enid; and John of Smackover, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Ettelka Withers of Enid; Mrs. Katie Withers, of Shidler, Okla.; and Mrs. Zada Kornbaum of Enid; five brothers, Will of Norwich, Kan.; Jim of Kentucky; and George, Mark and Doc of the Fairmont vicinity.
Mr. Stephens was a pioneer resident of the Fairmont vicinity, having lived there many years before moving to Enid several years ago.

Near Fairmont (last week)
Mr. and Mrs. John Stephens and daughters, Thelma and Helen, of Smackover, Ark., visited relatives here this week. They came to attend the funeral of Mr. Stephen's father, David Stephens.
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stephens and daughters, Lois and Laveda, and Albert Stephens of Milan, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Johns and daughters, Orpha and Lela, of Argonia, Kan.; and Mr. S. Stephens and son, Floyd, were dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stephens Tuesday. The Kansas folks were here for the funeral of their uncle, David Stephens.
