Funeral services for Barbara Jean Deeds, 63, Garber, will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Garber with Pastor Tom Legrand officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Black Bear Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Barbara was born on December 9, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Sherman and Beulah Norris Stuart, and passed away on February 27, 2017 in Enid. She was raised East of Garber, and attended the Garber School System. Barbara married Randy Deeds in Covington in 1971. They made their home in Garber. Barbara attended Northern Oklahoma College where she graduated with an Associates Degree. She worked as a registered nurse at Enid Senior Care, then Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Billings Fairchild Center, and later working for Golden Oaks Nursing Center. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Garber.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Randy of the residence; daughter, Candy Mae Evans of Billings, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Diamond and Jordan; sister, Vickie Layton of Garber; brothers, David Stuart of Garber, and Merle Stuart of Texas.

Barbara was preceded in passing by her parents, daughter, Crystal, brother, Danny Stuart.
