Art Baldwin and his brother Charles arrived Thursday with the body of their father, who died at Red Fork, Sunday. Burial will take place Friday afternoon at the cemetery on the Arthur Baldwin farm north east of town.The deceased was 85 years old.

FUNERAL OF AGED MAN

The funeral of Elias H. Baldwin was held at the home of his son Arthur Baldwin, Saturday morning at 9:30, conducted by Rev. L. C. Burkett of the Baptist church. Interment took place at the cemetery on the Baldwin farm eight miles northeast of town. Elias H. Baldwin was born at Hartford, Connecticut, Dec. 23, 1836. He was married to Harriet E. Moses in 1858. To this union nine children were born, six boys and three girls. He united with the Methodist church about the year 1856 and lived a devout Christian ever after. His wife departed this life in 1885. He was a veteran of the Civil War.
