Memorial: 11:00 AM Thursday, February 25th, 2016 First Baptist Church of Gage

Kathy Stanley, 58 year old Gage resident, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Gage First Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Cox and the Reverend Jeff Ralston officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Kathy Lou (Walton) Stanley was born on December 27, 1957 in Tulia, Texas. She was predeceased by her parents, Sidney James Walton and Patty Jeanette Oliver; her brother, Danny Walton, and sister, Dorothy Walton Wheatley; and her husband, Edward Lee Stanley.

Kathy was raised by her grandmother, America Elizabeth Dennis McCoy Walton and grandfather, Roy Landy Walton in Tulia, Texas, where she attended school and met the love of her life, Edward Lee Stanley, while working in her Dad’s café.

She married her soul mate, Edward Lee Stanley on December 15, 1972 in Tulia, Texas. They resided mostly in Levelland, Texas until Edward’s retirement. They have since resided in Gage, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her children, Twyla Spinelli of Sweetwater, Texas and Josh Stanley of Woodward, Oklahoma and sisters, Susan Walden, Brenda Sweet, Nancy Standifer, Kay Evans, Margaret Loafman, Michelle Gafford Sills, and Kandi Walton Petree, and brothers, Randy Stanley, Michael Walton, Roger Walton, Roy Walton, Bill Walton, Steven Gafford, and David Walton, and grandchildren, Kayla Meyer, Keagan Meyer, Blaine Stanley, Savana Spinelli, McKensi Spinelli, Kyler Meyer, and Jace Stanley as well as 19 nieces and 20 nephews.

She is predeceased and is survived by too many other family and friends to mention them all. She is also survived by her beloved pet, Pepper Stanley.
