Patricia Josephine Orcutt Potts, 91 year old resident of Gage, OK died on September 28, 2020 in Muskogee, OK. Pat was born on May 16, 1929 in Norman, OK to Shelby Riley and Pearl Iris (Dunbar) Justus.

Pat’s school days were spent in Britton, OK attending Britton Public Schools, graduating from Britton High School. On August 21, 1948 she married William (Bill) Leroy Orcutt in Texas. They made their home in Terlton, OK and Gage, OK. They were blessed with three children, Wootford (Woody) Leroy, Wiletta Jo (Jody) and Jacob (Jake) Riley.

Pat was always a caretaker, serving as a Nurse’s Aide and in Foster Care. She also loved being a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, crochet and reading. She was a member of the Eastern Star, People First Organization and was on the State Human Rights Committee. Pat was baptized at a young age and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gage and attended the Terlton First Baptist while living there.

Relatives preceding Pat in death: Parents, Shelby and Pearl Justus, husband, Bill Orcutt, husband, W.C. “Fuzzy” Potts, daughter, Jody Orcutt, brothers, Kenneth and Sam “Sonny” Justus, sisters, Arwinna Wiggs and Donna Kolander.

Survivors include: sons, Woody Orcutt and wife Ellen of Gage, OK and Jake Orcutt and wife Debby of Muskogee, OK; sister, Linda Jean Carter of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, JoAnn Dartlon and husband Ashley, Joe Orcutt and wife Sarah, Ben Orcutt and wife Marissa, Josh Orcutt, Luke Orcutt and wife Anna, Jessica Updike and husband Martin, and Jody’s Special Little Dog Princess; 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews; other family and a host of friends. She will be remembered for having a caring heart and a love for others.
