KAREN M. PERKINS

February 14, 1962 - December 23, 2017

Karen Marie Perkins, 55-year-old resident of Gage, OK, passed from this life on December 23, 2017 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Karen was born February 14, 1962 to Wayne L. and Judy P. Mackey in Shattuck, OK. She attended and graduated from Gage Public Schools.

On February 18, 1987 Karen married Kelly Lester Perkins in Perryton, TX. To this union Kenzi was born. She also welcomed in Erick and Shannon as her own children. Karen worked in the Ellis County Assessor’s office for 32 years.

In her spare time, she enjoyed working in the yard, being outside and shopping. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter London. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Karen is preceded in death by her brother Rusty Mackey and sister Gayle Marie.

She is survived by her husband of the home Kelly Perkins; three children Kenzi Dawn Perkins, Erick Deavin Perkins, and Shannon Tyler Perkins; one granddaughter London Kelly Perkins; parents Wayne and Judy Mackey; one sister Tammie Bay; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
