ELLIS COUNTY CAPITAL
ARNETT, OKLAHOMA
FRIDAY, JUNE 11, 1909
WOMAN KILLED BY LIGHTNING

During the Storm Tuesday Morning Eight Miles
Southeast of Gage

Just as Mrs. L. G. Wohlgemuch started out to feed her chickens Tuesday morning she was struck by a bolt of lightening and instantly killed. She leaves a husband and daughter to mourn her loss.

The funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock and the interment in the Fargo cemetery. This is a very sad accident coming as it did. The Capital joins with the many friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
