Melodie "Mel" Dawn (Bailey) Price, 48 year old resident of Fargo, OK, passed from this life July 28, 2016 at her home. Mel was born September 7, 1967 to LaRoy V. and Marilyn Janet (Steinert) Bailey in Oklahoma City, OK. Mel attended Fargo Public School and graduated with the class of 1986. In 1987 she went to Trim Flora International in Colorado and recieved a degree in floral design.

On August 14, 1988 Mel married David Ashpaugh in Fargo, OK. They were blessed with two children Bailey and Lane. The family made their home at Lake Havasu, AZ until 1990 and then they moved to Fargo. Mel married Justin Price on March 16, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. She was blessed to get three more children Dusty, Dallas, and Damron Price. She worked as a cook at the Fargo School for 17 years, and in 2015 she was the Pre K aid.

Mel was baptized as a young child at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She attended the Fargo Baptist Church until 2002, and then worshipped at home until time of her death. Mel watched Joel Osteen every Sunday morning on TV. She loved pickled green beans and gummie sharks. Mel was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars.

Mel is preceded in death by her parents LaRoy and Marilyn Bailey, stepson Damron Price, grandparents Floyd and Dorothy Steinert, aunts Joyce Steinert and Ruth Bailey, uncles Victor, Fred, and Lee Bailey.

She is survived by her husband Justin Price of the home; daughter Bailey Gregg and husband Chance of Fort Worth, TX; son Lane Ashpaugh of Fargo, OK; stepsons Dusty Price and Dallas Price of Fargo, OK; granddaughter Tinley Gregg of Forth Worth, TX and one on the way; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and friends that were like family.
