January 04, 1973 - April 13, 2017

Connie Arlene (Larkey) Havel of Shattuck, OK, passed away April 13, 2017. She was born January 4, 1973, in Shattuck, OK to Bob and Carolyn (Scott) Larkey. Connie began school in Fargo, OK, and later the family moved to Liberal, KS. She attended school in Liberal until 1983. The family then moved to Gage, OK where she finished her school years graduating with the class of 1991. She loved life and was highly thought of as a great student. She enjoyed sports, excelling in track, and was a member of the cheerleading squad.

Connie was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Kenny Chapman, August 19, 1991. On June 10, 1992, they had twins, Brandilyn Karen and Brandon Dean. Three years later, on May 17, 1995, they had another boy, Brock Robert. Connie and Kenny then separated. In 2000, Connie and Rusty Pratt had Brikaila Marie Pratt. A year later, Connie and Rusty moved to Arkansas City, KS. In 2005, the family moved back to Gage, OK. Connie and Rusty separated in 2013. On July 15, 2015, Connie was united in marriage with the love of her life, Chris Havel. With this marriage, she gained two step-sons and step-daughter-in-law, Jacob Russell Havel, Christopher Ryan Havel and Emily Havel.

Connie was preceded in death by her father Bob Larkey, grandparents Lloyd and Mary Scott, Zane and Wanda Larkey, and niece Temprince Grace Romero.

She is survived by her children; grandchildren Brylee Arelene, Emeree Danielle, Kenneth Leon and Reygan Havel; husband Chris; big sister Bobbie (Javier) Romero; brother Danny Larkey; mother Carolyn (Terry) Gonser; best friends Jo Orcutt, Darlton and Shelly Schroeder; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
