Harold Wayne Webster
March 24, 1935 ~ November 22, 2019

Harold Wayne Webster, 84 year old resident of Woodward, OK, passed from this life on November 22, 2019 in Woodward. Harold was born March 24, 1935 to John Cleveland and Ella Mae (Carney) Webster in Vici, OK. He attended school in Vici and later obtained his GED after enlisting in the United States Air Force. Harold enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1953. He served as an aircraft mechanic. Harold retired from the United States Air Force in 1974, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant.

Harold was stationed at the Plattsburgh Air Force Base in New York until he was 28. On June 1, 1963, he married Joan Ida Rule and to this union three children were born Dale, Julie, and William. While serving in the Air force the family lived in Omaha NB, San Antonio TX, and Madrid Spain. After retiring, he lived in Shattuck, Mooreland, and Woodward Oklahoma where he worked as a carpenter and at the Shattuck Publics Schools for ten years as a maintenance man. In his spare time Harold enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising cattle, and woodworking.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents John and Ella Webster, stepfather Bill Johns, two sisters Lois Blanchard and Claydene Hunt, brother John Webster, and step brother Wesley Bowman.

He is survived by his wife of the home Joan Webster; two sons Dale Webster of Woodward, OK and William Webster of Loomis, CA; daughter Julie Webster of Etoile, TX; eight grandchildren Steven Webster, Rebecca Webster, John Snead Jr., Melissa Christian, Madison Snead, Jacob Webster, Taylor Webster, Lucas Webster; two great grandchildren Aiden Thompson and Kristine Thompson; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
