Leann Lanell Shawn, daughter of Francis and Alice Spake was born on September 28, 1970 in Shattuck. OK. She passed away October 31, 2016 at the age of 46. Leann attended Woodward Schools and then furthering her education at the Woodward Vo-tech taking accounting classes. During her adult life, she worked in various aspects of the health care field, at the Northwest Center for Behavioral Health, providing not only needed care, but extra smiles. Leann made her home in the Fargo area and raised her children Stetson, Krystan, Jamie, and Dalton there. She enjoyed sitting in the bleachers and cheering her kids on at games. Leann cherished every moment she spent with her children. Leann is survived by four children, Stetson Pierce, Krystan Pierce, Jamie Shawn, and Dalton Shawn. Sister, Loretta Coffey, niece, Billie Cunningham, great niece Rylee Dukes. As well as many remarkable Aunts and cousins. Leann was preceded in death by parents, Franics and Alice Spake. Brothers, Rick and William, and nephew Jesse.
