Leta Mae (Turner) Padgett
August 20, 1936 ~ June 17, 2020

Leta Mae (Turner) Padgett, 83-year-old resident of Brownwood, TX, passed from this life on June 17, 2020. She was born on August 20, 1936 to Audrey Darrell and Maggie Louise (Taylor) Turner in Vici, OK. Leta grew up and attended school in Vici.

 On November 30, 1952, she married Harland “Sonny” Gerald Padgett in Texas. To this union, one son was born Cody Lance. The family made their home in Lefors, TX where she lived much of her life. Leta was a housewife where she kept up the home, but most importantly she enjoyed being with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and anything involving outdoor activities. Leta will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Leta is preceded in death by her husband Sonny Padgett, her parents Audrey and Maggie Turner, two brothers Paul Davis and Dewayne Turner and one sister Nada Rathbun.

She is survived by her son Cody Padgett and wife Malinda of Brownwood, TX; grandson Hayden Padgett of Brownwood, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
