Ruth Evelyn Buffaloe Barnard

ENID — Ruth Barnard, 88, was born April 11, 1924, to Benjamin and Iona (Miller) Buffaloe in Maysville and died Jan. 30, 2013, in Elk City, Okla.

On July 22, 1943, she married Ashley Barnard at Hammon.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband; infant son, Daryl; sisters, Barbara Axton and Oleta Price; and brother, Troy Buffaloe.

Surviving are sons Eddie and Lyle; sister-in-law Pauline Buffaloe; five grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Memorials to Leedey Ambulance Service or Leedey Education Foundation through Bank of the West, Leedey.

Graveside service is 2 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, at New Herman Cemetery, Leedey, Okla. Arrangements by Shaw Funeral Home, Leedey.
