Colleen (Chain) Brown
March 17, 1947 ~ March 18, 2016

Colleen Chain Brown was born March 17, 1947 to Geo. and Georgia Chain at Oakwood, OK. She went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on March 18, 2016.

Colleen was married to David Brown on February 27, 1966. They made their home in the Oakwood community, where they raised two sons, Paul and Greg.

Colleen is survived by her husband, David Brown of the home; son Paul Brown and wife Jennifer, two granddaughters, Taylor and Madison, of Edmond, OK; son Greg Brown and wife Michelle of New York City, NY; two brothers, Frank Chain and wife Velda and Orin Chain and wife Carol; sister Emily Stinson and husband Joe Don; and twin-sister Connie Roberts and husband Charles, all of Oakwood, OK. Colleen is preceded in death by her parents; brother G.O. Chain and wife Janis; a niece, Kristi, and nephew, Bradley.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery northwest of Oakwood, OK with Pastor Shane Sander officiating. Arrangements are by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Colleen was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Her favorite bible verse to live by was John 15:5, “apart from God, I can do nothing”. Memorials may be made to the Cookson Hills Christian Ministries. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com.
