Calvin Arthur Dilbeck, Jay resident, age 60 years, died peacefully at his home early Thursday morning, surrounded by his family.

Calvin was born in Oklahoma City, OK on February 17, 1952 to his parents, Leland Dilbeck and Ann (Pair). He grew up in Delaware County attending Jay Schools. Calvin worked as a construction worker and most recently was a poultry farmer. Calvin married the love of his life, Cindy Jones on August 6, 1971 in Jay, OK.

Calvin loved to fish, hunt, remodel his home, and be outdoors. He was a member of the North American Fishing Club. He was a great cook, and loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by brother, Jack Dilbeck and granddaughter, Auden Holcombe.

Calvin leaves many loving memories with his family, his wife, Cindy; parents, Leland and Betty Dilbeck and Ann and Sam Dick; daughters, Bridget Mercer and husband Brandon, Tammie Holcombe and husband Aaron, Ann Marie Shrum and husband David; brother, Mike Dilbeck and wife, Martha; sisters, Shelly Chewey and husband Bobby, Teresa Lynn and husband Rob; Eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Mt. Hermon Church with Pastor Brandon McCombs officiating. Interment will follow at Ward Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Kent Farmer, Todd Melton, Rowdy Dilbeck, Rob Lynn, Bobby Chewey, and David Shrum. Honorary bearers will be Amos Pogue and Eric Pogue.
