Judy Jeanette Grass, Jay resident, died Thursday evening December 10, 2009 at home surrounded by her family at the age of 47. She was born on February 1, 1962 to her parents Sam Jewitt, Jr. and Nancy (Davis) in Claremore, OK. She attended Jay schools while growing up and then married Stanley Grass on February 28, 1979 at Piney Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma. Judy was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family, attending church, and loved to color.

She is preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Quinton and Bessie Davis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Smith and Anna Grass.

Judy leaves many loving memories with her family, husband Stanley, of the home; mother and step father, Nancy and Bob Hildebrand; son, Joel Grass; daughters, Keahnah Grass, Kamichia Grass, Deanna Grass; brother, Mike Stick; sisters, Becky Davis, Pam Watermelon, Carolyn Smoke, Amanda Black and husband Dustin; 6 uncles; 2 aunts; 4 special brother and sister in-laws; special family friend, Sam King; many nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces & great nephews; many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be Jimmy Davis, James Davis, Nick Davis, Kenny Jones, Darrel O’Field, and Dale Davis. Honorary bearers will be Dennis Sixkiller, Marcus O’Field, Johnny Davis, Junior Davis, Jerry Davis, Jesus Rodriguez, David Grass and Dustin Black.

Services were entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Piney Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Pickup and Reverend Phil Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at O’Field Cemetery.
