Eddie Metcalf Warlick, 82, of Kansas, Oklahoma, died July 31, 2009, at Quail Ridge Living Center, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma.

Born May 4, 1927 in Sulligent, Alabama, he was the son of James Auzzie Warlick and Francis L. Cain Warlick.

Eddie was a WWII Navy Veteran, Fireman Second Class. After the war, he was a painter for the construction industry and was of theBaptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Michael Warlick of Opelka, Alabama; one daughter, Brenda Gilliam of Columbus, Mississippi; one brother, Auzzie Warlick of Kansas, grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Burial was at Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, Oklahoma.
