Auzzie Miles Warlick, 91 year-old resident of Kansas, Oklahoma, died November 25, 2011 at his home.

Born December 14, 1919 in Lone Grove, Oklahoma, he was the son of James Auzzie Warlick and Francis (Cain) Warlick.

He married Bessie Faye Allen in 1950 in Aliceville, AL. Theyhad 2 sons and one daughter. He later married Thelma Miller in 1979 in Carney, Oklahoma.

Auzzie served his country in WWII as a member of the Army Air Corps and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for valor. After the war he worked at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic until his retirment in the early 70's. He also continued to serve in the Air Force Reserves until retirement in the mid 70's. Auzzie was a member of the Kansas First Baptist Church. After retirement Auzzie and Thelma traveled all across the US doingvolunteer carpentry work for various Baptist churches.

Auzzie was preceded in death by his wife Thelma, four brothers: Gene, Cane, Walker and Eddie Warlick; two sisters, Evelan Young, and Margaret Jay.

Survivors include two sons, Rex Warlick and wife Debi of Oklahoma City, OK, Lindsey Warlick of Kansas, OK; one daughter Deborah Robinson of Agra, OK; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Kansas, Oklahoma with Rev. Terry Wofford and Rev. John Crowley officiating. Burial will follow at the Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, Oklahoma.
