Edward O'Field, 83, of Colcord, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Rochester, Minnesota.

He was born in Colcord, Oklahoma the son of James and Nellie (Parchmeal) O'Field on January 16, 1930. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Tyio Baptist Church. He was also a member of The American Legion, and VFW.

Edward worked for Dan H.Hesstons, Trinity Steel and Cherokee Natural Resources. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking hog meat for the family dinners and playing music. He loved hearing stories of his grandkids sports activities.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 in the Euwasha Baptist Church in Kenwood, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Sunday February 10th in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Euwasha Cemetery.

He is survived by sons Jeffrey Alan O'Field and wife Roselena of Rocky Ford. Phillip Edward and wife Felicia of Kenwood Oklahoma. Four daughters, Loretta Faye Buffington and husband Randy of Spavinaw, Mary Marie Bendabout and husband Dennis, Deborah Sue O'Field all of Kenwood. One sister Geneva Chewie of Twin Oaks. Twenty grandchildren and twenty one Greatchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Eunice, daughter Rosetta Mae Blackbear, sister Hazel O'Field. One grandson, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great grandson.
